Sorry for the late response, sure thing, we could sell you an OG German (K) profile switch $50.00 and have it keyed and tested to your key (35K005) $25.00 plus shipping. (we will require your key, or we could cut a new key by code for extra fee)

I have 2 ignition switches with no keys. I’m hoping they are both Bus ignitions and one is for a 64 and the other a 67. Can you confirm they are for a Bus before I get keys cut? I’m also assuming you can cut keys from the code that is on them. They are: T3604 and 13L034. Thanks!
Hi Beth, yes both ignition switches are original.
We could cut the keys by code (T3604) & (13L034) go ahead and order the keys directly from the website.
*We will be close from 12/31 to Jan 05

Do you have any 64 bug SV keys?

I have a 71 beetle and would like to get a key cut by code. The original maintenance book has 1052 recorded as the key number, is this the code that is needed or do I have to take a door handle off to find the code?

Hi Gabe, about a year ago you repaired my 67 113, now I have a 69 113 that the ignition switch has been replaced ( no code on the huf ? key ) the doors (44k — code ) work good and I would like to rekey the doors to the ignition. I also have an extra door handle ( 24m044 code ) that I would like to substitute for one of my handles if possible .That way I would have an extra handle with the key. What would you estimate the cost for the job. Thanks Wayne 702-562-9864 or my e mail.

Hi Gabriel,
I have 1971 VW bus. I use 3keys for it… for the ignition, for diver’s and passenger’s doors, and for side and rear doors. The locksmith guy told me that the ignition and both side doors can be one if I take the door handles out but not the side and rear door, because those are different type of handles. Could you make one key for all there?
Thanks, Mika
Hi Matt, we need a code from door handle, should look something like (12M023)

Hi Gabriel
Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my full set of handles and ignition for the Oval. It took me a while to find time to do the ignition but now it’s all on one key and the springs are tight in the handles the car really feels complete. I’m really looking forward to getting the ’58 bus back on original handles and keyed alike.
